The Cottage can be found in the charming village of Warkworth, a pretty village by the coast. Situated very close to Warkworth Castle and village, the location of the cottage is private with lots of space with easy dedicated parking.
There is space to sleep 2 and it is perfect for couples with room enough for a baby as well. Lovers of wildlife will enjoy glorious walks around the river and castle surroundings, listen to the occasional woodpecker and a rare glimpse of a red squirrel, deer and otters if you are lucky enough.
Everything is well furnished and decorated. A complimentary bottle of chilled wine will be waiting to welcome you.
The cottage is all on one level, with one double bedroom, living area, small kitchen and bathroom. The living area is open plan with spacious timber loft ceilings, adjoining this area is a separate bedroom with kingsize bed. The bathroom has a corner bath and separate shower enclosure.
With gas central heating the cottage is warm and cosy in cold weather.
The smart kitchen is part of the living area where there are table and chairs, and comfortable sofa. The kitchen is well equipped should you want to eat in, as the cupboards have lots of kitchen ware, cooking equipment and crockery.
A combined fridge with separate freezer section is available.
There is a sheltered patio area and for you to enjoy the outdoors in the warmer months, with table and chairs. There is designated private parking adjacent to the cottage.
King size feather & down duvet and pillows, with correct weight according to the time of year.
The cottage is supplied with WiFi, which due to the rural location we do our best to keep online, and for which there is no charge.
There is also a flat-screen television with Freeview and DVD player. A mini-HiFi system is also supplied for CDs and radio.
You can bring your bikes if you wish, there’s room to store them securely. You will find a list of leisure and outdoor facilities in the area recorded in a information file in the cottage.
One dog is welcome, pet fee applies and pet house rules apply
If you are eating out, the village pubs and restaurants are only a short walk away. Local pubs are well represented, and most serve food and drink.
